The most common way a domestic build goes wrong isn't bad workmanship — it's sequencing. The plasterer arrives before the electrician has finished first fix; the tiler is booked for a week when the plumber is still waiting on a part; nobody owns the gap between them, so the homeowner does.
Lignum Build carries bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, tiling and electrical work with its own experienced team. One programme, one standard, one person to ring — and when two trades need to agree on something, they agree in the van rather than in a three-way phone call with you in the middle.
Bricklaying and plastering
New walls, piers and extensions in brick and block; structural openings formed and made good; and plastering from float-and-set on new work to patch repairs where a wall has been opened up. Getting a flat, true finish out of a room that's been cut about is a craft in its own right.
Plumbing and electrical
First and second fix plumbing and electrics as part of the build — pipework and cable routes planned around the structure rather than chased into it afterwards, so bathrooms, kitchens and heating layouts land where the drawings said they would.
Tiling and finishing trades
Wall and floor tiling set out from the room rather than from the corner, with the plumbing and tiling decided together — which is how a bathroom ends up with full tiles in the places people look and cuts in the places they don't.
